another juvenile banishing

This incantation is the latest in a brief series of rituals specially suited to magicians who have not yet reached the age of reason. It is adapted from a well-known English bedtime prayer.
There are four corners to my bed;
There are four angels overspread:
Rafa-el and Gabri-el,
Mika-el and Auri-el,
Shining as they ever are,
And inside me there is a star.
Lily prefers to add the closing couplet which (according to Dame Ida Craddock) is a pre-Christian traditional element:
Saddle the cat and I'll get on,
Open the gate and I'll be gone!
